INTRODUCTION

Gin Rummy is a timeless game that combines skill and strategy. The objective is to arrange your hand in a way that minimizes "deadwood," which refers to cards that do not fit into any sets or runs. By doing so, you aim to outsmart your opponent and reach the target score of 100 points before they do.


GUIDELINES

  1. Objective: Minimize "deadwood" by forming sets and runs with your cards.
  • Sets: Create groups of cards with the same rank (e.g., three 7s).
  • Runs: Arrange sequential cards of the same suit (e.g., 4, 5, 6 of Hearts).
  1. Scoring:
  • Add the remaining deadwood points of your opponent to your score.
  • To maximize points, knock or "go gin" by having no deadwood in your hand.
  1. Victory:
  • The first player to score 100 points or more wins the game.
  • Prevent your opponent from reaching 100 points before you do!
